Listed below are the major steps and due dates for the upcoming year. Please complete all requirements well ahead of the due dates.
Register with USA Hockey as an Ice Manager/Volunteer. There is no fee.
Due date: Within 4 days of volunteering
Complete your background screening online. MAHA site use your Sport Ngin Login. Background checks are good for 2 years.

Due date: Within 4 days of volunteering
Complete Team Manager Registration using the link to the right. You will need your USA Hockey number, year you completed your background check and safesport training video. Then proceed to step 4 to complete the safesport video.
You may need to create a profile for yourself under your families NGIN before registering.
When you login, if it doesn't show your name then "Register a new person".
Complete the new 90 minute Safesport module video. You can complete the video in increments. Test not required. If you completed Safesport video for the 2015 - 2016 season, you do not need to complete this year. Otherwise, complete. Good for two years.

Once you have registered, complete the following steps to access the training:
Zero Award, Hat Trick Award, Playmaker Award (eligible player categories are all players Squirt/10U and above.
